If we are a bunch of Massholes.....

Then drivers in Connecticut would be a bunch of Connectic*nts.

Driving through the little-yet-LONNNNNGGGGGGEST state last night I was amazed at the sheer as*holitude of CT drivers.

It was easier to count how many times I saw a blinker in use (twice!). Drivers use all lanes as passing/racing lanes, god help anyone getting onto the highway and into the path of a passer in the far right lane. Then there are those who will ride your bumper until they can nose their way into the tiniest gaps in traffic to get one car length ahead. Most seem to have no concept of the "zipper" theory when road construction forces lanes to merge....

I used to think it was a joke about the ferocity of the Connecticut State Police and how dogged they are in their pursuit of speeders, but now I realize that really they are just shooting
fish in a barrel.

Yes! Every time I drive down to New Haven, the roads are covered by the unnervingly slow and the dangerously careless, while Connecticut staties lurk behind bridge abutments.

I drove down there on Saturday morning and ran into a huge traffic jam due to this.

Something about the dumbasses in that state. I lived there (outside of New Haven) for close to a decade and they are the most clueless, if not the worst, drivers on the road. They "merge" onto a highway by crossing right into the left lane. They drift lazily from lane to lane, or more often just indecisively straddle two lanes. They think 60MPH is suitable for the left/passing lane and 95MPH is good for the right lane. They won't get out of the way for a Sherman tank!

Yeah, they're bad. Folks are aggressive, crazy and annoying here in the Commonwealth, but we're not as shamelessly stupid as the tards in CT.

I am a native Nutmegger and this is how I drive. It's even worse...I'm on a motorcycle.

It's true I can't argue with you. Driving in Connecticut is almost suicidal especially where major interstates meet such as I-95/I-91 and I-84/I-91.

Seems like it is especially bad around the state lines of Massachusetts and New York.

This is soooo true. Lived in New Haven for two years and felt like as soon as I left the tollbooth off of the Pike to I84 people immediately started going 90. In all of the lanes. I think here in the Commonwealth, we are a little more cautious because traffic can be unexpectedly hairy, but so much of CT is rural rather than urban so those drivers just zoom around not worrying about killing people. Connecticut drivers are a bad combination of the worst qualities of Boston and NYC drivers.
